Our Purpose
Mowbray and Doris Sifton founded the Sifton Family Foundation in 1989 to give back to the communities in which Sifton Properties Limited serves. For thirty-five years, the Foundation has enhanced the lives of those in need and provides grants to registered charities.
The Foundation also matches donations made by Sifton employees to various causes important to them, including Sifton’s Annual United Way Campaign.
Through the dedicated work of a volunteer board of directors comprised of family, employees and community members, the Foundation has provided over
$7.5 million in funding to nearly 600 organizations since 1989.
Our vision is to make a meaningful and positive impact on our communities.
Our Mission
We are committed to enhancing the lives of people in need, especially children, youth and their families, as well as persons with disabilities and seniors. We support inclusive initiatives that foster learning, play, and the overall well-being of communities.
