Supporting Compassionate Care
St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, Ontario is a place of dignity, compassion, and care. As a charitable organization, it provides vital support to individuals and families facing the challenges of a palliative diagnosis or grieving the loss of a loved one.
The Sifton Family Foundation is proud to have supported St. Joseph’s Hospice with a multi-year grant aimed at strengthening their technology infrastructure—so they can serve even more families with efficiency, compassion, and care.
With our support, the Hospice implemented several major upgrades, including:
A secure electronic health record system for faster, more accurate access to patient information—improving care coordination, reducing medication errors, and giving staff more time to focus on residents' comfort and well-being.
Enhanced volunteer management tools to better support over 300 dedicated volunteers, making scheduling more efficient and improving overall engagement.
A modern donor CRM (customer relationship management) system to streamline stewardship, improve data tracking, and enable more personalized communication with supporters.
Stronger cybersecurity measures to protect the sensitive information of patients, families, volunteers, and donors.
These improvements have had a measurable impact on operations and service delivery. St. Joseph’s Hospice now has the tools to work more efficiently and securely—while staying focused on what matters most: providing compassionate, person-centered care.
