Supporting Compassionate Care

St. Joseph’s Hospice in London, Ontario is a place of dignity, compassion, and care. As a charitable organization, it provides vital support to individuals and families facing the challenges of a palliative diagnosis or grieving the loss of a loved one.

The Sifton Family Foundation is proud to have supported St. Joseph’s Hospice with a multi-year grant aimed at strengthening their technology infrastructure—so they can serve even more families with efficiency, compassion, and care.

With our support, the Hospice implemented several major upgrades, including:

  • A secure electronic health record system for faster, more accurate access to patient information—improving care coordination, reducing medication errors, and giving staff more time to focus on residents' comfort and well-being.

  • Enhanced volunteer management tools to better support over 300 dedicated volunteers, making scheduling more efficient and improving overall engagement.

  • A modern donor CRM (customer relationship management) system to streamline stewardship, improve data tracking, and enable more personalized communication with supporters.

  • Stronger cybersecurity measures to protect the sensitive information of patients, families, volunteers, and donors.

These improvements have had a measurable impact on operations and service delivery. St. Joseph’s Hospice now has the tools to work more efficiently and securely—while staying focused on what matters most: providing compassionate, person-centered care.
