New HVAC Unit for the Children’s Safety Village of Brant

The Sifton Family Foundation is pleased to join individual donors, the Brant Community Foundation and Enbridge to fund a new capital improvement project at the Children’s Safety Village of Brant.  Our grant of $18,000 helped install a new heating, ventilation and air-conditioning unit.

The Village, located in Brantford, Ontario is a specially designed learning facility where children are taught how to respond to dangerous or threatening situations and effective personal strategies. Programs centering on fire prevention, knowledge of fire alarms, traffic and bicycle safety, internet safety, and stranger awareness, are taught by the local police and fire services.

“The Sifton Family Foundation grant allows us to complete the fundraising necessary to replace our aging HVAC system, with the goal of ensuring long-term effective and efficient air quality for the students, instructors, staff and visitors”, said Leo Vos, Board Chair at the Children’s Safety Village of Brant.
